'Badmaash Company' is directed by Parmeet Sethi. And he has come up with a good concept and both his presentation and narrative are neat.
Story:
The story begins with Karan (shahid) who hails from a middle class family and strict father but wants to grow rich and that too the quick way. Then there is Bulbul (anushka) who comes from the town and dreams of becoming a super model in Mumbai but the glamour world has something else in store for her. Thirdly, there is Zing (meiyang) who is from Sikkim but a proper Mumbai guy who is searching for his identity and becomes a drunkard. Last but not the least, there is the aspiring actor Chandu (vir das) whose parents are part of the film circuit but are against his wishes, he is supported by his best pal Karan. The story takes a turn when Bulbul, Zing meet Karan and Chandu joins them too. They come up with a plan that takes them through a roller coaster ride. What happens hereafter is to be seen on the screen.
Performance:
Shahid Kapoor delivers yet another exceptional performance. Anushka reveals her oomph and steamy side in this one and her performance has improved as well. Meiyang is a revelation while Vir Das was impressive. Anupam Kher was amazing, Kiran was casual, Pawan was powerful while Jameel Khan was okay.
Music:
'Badmaash Company' music is composed by Pritam Chakraborty. And for this movie Background score was alright and two songs were good remaining were not upto the mark.
