Cast: Farhan Akhtar, Deepika Padukone, Ram Kapoor, Shefali Chhaya, and others Director:Vijay Lalwani Producer:Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani Music:Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsaan Noorani and Loy Mendonca Date of Released:February 26th, 2010

'Karthik Calling Karthik' is directed by Vijay Lalwani. And he has come up with a thoughtful tale but though the presentation was good, the narrative failed to impress.
Story:
The story is about Karthik (farhan) who is a loser in life and has low levels of confidence. Due to his nature, he is also very inefficient at work and due to this, his boss Kamath (ram Kapoor) tends to ridicule him at all times. On the other hand, there is the beautiful Shonali (deepika), Karthik's colleague who hardly notice that he is around. When life seems to suck, Karthik gets a call on his phone and the caller identifies himself as Karthik and informs that he is there to change his life. Karthik takes the offer and what happens hereafter is to be seen on the screen.
Performance:
Farhan has come up with yet another impressive performance but then the role of the character was not that strong, Deepika looks dazzling as ever and she makes her presence felt, Ram Kapoor was good, Shifaali is super, Vivian is neat, the others did their bit as required.
Music:
'Karthik Calling Karthik' composed by Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsaan Noorani and Loy Mendonca. And background score was good and two songs were just okey.
