'Let's Dance' is a dance flick, first half goes about with the building up of the plot, the second half comes down with what is a predictable treat. The film seems to be inspired from super hit movies like Rangeela and other dance oriented flicks. Script should have been more crisp and tight.
Story:
Story is about Suhani (Gayatri) who runs her own dance school. She comes in contact with a bunch of street kids Kallu (Paras), R J (Aquib) and others who seem to have the spark in them and hence, begins a journey she believes in. Soon, she takes it upon herself to teach these kids the full format of dance and from then on, begins a journey of challenges and uphill tasks that she has to
overcome. There is also a love angle to Suhani with the local guy helping her out in her mission and there is also a problem with the villain who kind of has a control over these street kids. Whether Suhani is successful in her goal or not forms the crux of the story.
Performance:
Gayatri Patel's dancing skills are commendable. Her dances are exuberant and a visual treat. Heroes were just average. Both the kids did their best, mainly the eldest kid.
Music:
Music is a plus point ans same goes for choreography.
Verdict:
In a nutshell, 'Let's Dance' can be watched once for Gayatri Patel's exuberant dances. Can be rated as an average movie. | |
