'Love Khichdi' is a romantic entertainer, directed by 'Srinivas Bhashyam' and he takes a titillating
plot but tries to cram it up with every possible masala to pander many palates.
Story:
The story revolves around Veer Pratap Singh (Randeep Hooda), a chef in a hotel. He is gifted with
looks that make women go weak in their knees. Just a slight calculation, a little maneuvering and
right moves on his part, and the girl comes running into his arms. There’s his skimpily clad
neighbour (Riya Sen), a bookshop owner (Rituparna Sengupta), a Punjabi neighbour (Divya
Dutta), a feisty model (Jesse Randhawa) and the men-devouring business executive (Kalpana
Pandit). All eye him. And the insatiable Veer still hungers for more. He ogles at his maid (Sonali
Kulkarni) and fantasizes about her. Among all there’s only one girl (Sada) who’s his real friend. He
doesn’t lust for her. But she loves him; secretly though.
Music:
For This Movie Pritam's music is peppy and energetic, but nothing special.
Performance:
Randeep Hooda came up with a good performance and carried out his role very well, Rituparna
was ravishingly hot, Jesse was juicy, Riya was seductive and nice, Divya was neat, Sonali was
superb. cinematography was regular, editing could have been better. Art department and
costumes made their presence felt.The true performer was also Sada who gave a good impact.
Saurabh Shukla was regular, Sanjay Mishra was okay.
