'Mohandas' is Directed by Mazhar Kamran. He has come up with a hard hitting tale of identity and it has
got a very realistic sense. The narrative was powerful and the presentation was good.
Story:
A hard hitting tale, the story begins when the dynamic and good hearted person Meghna (sonali) working
with a news channel receives a videotape from a small place far away in Madhya Pradesh. This is about
Mohandas (nakul) who claims that his identity has been taken and someone is actually working at the
Oriental coal mines under his name. When he tries to protest, he is beaten up badly. Meghna decides to
get into the details and visits the place, she also gathers information and in no time, it is there in the
media. Soon, the district's local lawyer Harshvardhan (aditya) comes forward to take up the case and fight
for the real Mohandas. How successful is the team? What happens after that forms the rest of the
story.
Performance:
Sonali Kulkarni gave a very good performance, Sushant's character was not etched out well but still he
gives a good shot. Nakul Vaid was perfect, Aditya was alright, Sharbani was a revelation, Govind Namdeo
was excellent, Uttam was above average.
Music:
For this movie Music is scored by Vivek Priyadarshan. Music and background score helped while camera
captured the rustic locations well.
